The story follows the Perspective Detective as he tries to solve the case of Axel's missing book. The book is almost due at the library, and Axel and his sister Lexa cannot seem to locate it. Therefore, they seek the help of an expert. The trio searches the reading nook and the basement for clues, retracing their steps and shifting their perspective, but they keep running into bugs and cannot find the book. They look up and down at the floor, but there is no sign of it. The detectives start to lose hope, but just when they are about to give up, they spot a clue that changes everything.
