Peaches the Corgi: Who to Be by Jessica Sorto is a fun, well written children's book about a young corgi named Peaches. Peaches believes that he is too small and that his legs are too short. He also believes he can't run fast. He wishes he were more like other animals. He wishes he were a cat with claws, or a horse with a long neck and tail. He wishes he were a goat, or a cow, or a pig. He wishes he could change himself. Will Peaches ever learn that it's okay to just be himself?
I really enjoyed reading Peaches the Corgi: Who to Be by Jessica Sorto. Many people will be able to relate to Peaches, because many people have found themselves wanting to change who they are, and many people find themselves wanting to change their features, just like Peaches. The book teaches that we should always be ourselves, which is a very important lesson for everyone. I liked that the book is written from the perspective of Peaches. The book is very well written and the book rhymes. The rhyming is good and gives the book rhythm. The pictures are adorable and well done. The pictures show each part vividly and are very colourful. Parents will enjoy reading this book to their child, who will want to read this book again and again. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone, no matter their age.
