Our Best Friend Karma is a beautiful book with great lessons that everyone should learn and keep in mind in their daily lives. Through interesting text and colorful images, Kimberly Hirsch tells us a story from the perspective of a boy who describes his life experiences and his difficulties with his brother. Sibling fights are common but they shouldn't happen. Every time they argue something bad happens because, clearly, their actions have consequences, and that's when Karma comes in. The children at first don't know who or what Karma is, but once they understand the idea, they seek to have a better way of behaving and the results of Karma are amazing. This book is perfect for learning about responsibility, friendship, and family love.
I liked how Kimberly Hirsch tells the story. The book is narrated in an entertaining way that any child can identify with because this situation occurs in everyday situations but is expressed with originality and with extraordinarily clear ideas. Our Best Friend Karma is a great read that shows what a book should have: an excellent presentation, positive messages, attention to detail, a narrative directed at its audience, and especially with all the love of the author reflected on every page. This book is wonderful. The story not only talks about "Karma" but also about family unity. I think this book should be read by every child so they can learn and understand ideas like coexistence and affection in a fun way with lessons that will be easy to remember.
