Teaching children about nature is important because they will understand the environment around them. If at the same time they develop a taste for reading, it will be of great benefit for their future. One Drop, Endless Ripples is just such a book and is suitable for younger readers. In this story, a water droplet illustrates the water cycle starting from the sky and showing beautiful places like a river and a waterfall. Each page portrays a different place. Animals from various ecosystems make an appearance from time to time. The drop narrates its cycle from the sky, passing land and sea until it returns to its point of origin. Jayshree L Patel presents an engaging book that children will enjoy.
One Drop, Endless Ripples is beautifully presented with hand-drawn illustrations. The colors of nature are well displayed, and the images have a high level of realism. I liked the diversity of scenery portrayed throughout the story and the details of the animals. Jayshree L Patel presents her story in short phrases intended for children learning to read, while the story maintains a harmonious flow that is easy to follow. The book is ideal for starting a conversation with children about the water cycle and the environment. The water cycle is described here in a general manner and I would have liked to see it explained in a little more detail. This remains a beautiful and educative book that will encourage reading habits.
