A Fun Read!!!
Being a Northerner, I was struck by the Kentucky Lingo. For exampled: Falling in love was as easy as falling off a greased log, cattywampus and good gravy! The variety of country sayings transported me to another place. Rodeos, old pickups and country fairs gave the book an excellent flavor of Kentucky.
Just when I thought the end was near, oh no, the book took another twist.
I loved the characters and the redemption. Enjoy!

Well-constructed story, multifaceted characters, leaves you wanting to read about their next endeavor. It ends well, but they accomplished so much you know they will do much more. This is a good book to read on vacation, when you don't have to put it down often and want something a bit more substantial than "fluff".

Sadie O'Toole is to be admired. Although it was not high on her list of things to do, she carries out her grandfather's dying request. Once again Renee Yancy brings us a fun and engaging story. This time she has us traveling the highways and byways of the South with a feisty redhead named Sadie and her oh so handsome assistant, Henry. So grab some coffee and come along on a road trip filled with love and excitement. Along the way you'll meet some loveable characters, as well as those who are downright evil. At each bend in the road the suspense grows and, in the end, Sadie and Henry learn valuable lessons in trust, forgiveness and love.

This book is a great read, especially when you want to lose yourself in another "world" - the rodeo world. I liked the main character, Sadie, from the beginning. There was some intrigue, betrayal, misunderstanding, forgiveness and love. It was easy to forget what is happening in the world now, and lose myself in the characters. I found myself thinking of the characters when I wasn't reading. I like that about a book. Renee has written a good story line with some interesting characters.

I enjoyed reading this fun filled romantic novel! It was hard to put down and the plot twists kept me going. I appreciate the authors likeable characters and look forward to her next book!

Take a road trip and fall in love with the spunky main character, Sadie, and her surprise hunk of an "assistant" Henry. Love how Renee weaves a story line, so descriptive whether illustrating flowers/scents or technical/medical - you feel like you are there & learn something new. The tension between the two is palpable and the twists & turns in the story make this book a page turner!

Just finished “On The Trail of Love” and really enjoyed it. The characters were flawed and real and drew me in. The story was rich and warm and I appreciated the details included in the confrontation scene. (No spoilers!) I laughed when reading about Max and Bill and wish I could see that!

In On the Trail of Love, Renee Yancy has written a sweet, sometimes humorous tale of two people falling in love despite the obstacles life has thrown them. Great chemistry, a bit of mystery and danger, and charming wit rounds out the story of romance, rodeos, and a mechanical bull. Hoping the author adds more stories to this series.

This is my first time reading a book by this author. I read it in one night. I loved it! I Laughed and I cried! It has everything you can think of: family, redemption, travelling, cowboys and of course a love story. Easy to read and great story!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading "On the Trail of Love." I had no idea what life was like taking a mechanical bull on the rodeo circuit and this book made me feel like I was along for the ride with Sadie and her unchosen companion, Henry. I couldn't wait to see what they would encounter at their next stop or even along the way, and how they would get along with each other. The story kept my interest throughout with some unexpected twists and turns. It had suspense, humor, and romance, I highly recommend it!
