Oh, The Way I Love You, written by Hillary J Lee, is a heartfelt children’s poetry book. It is about parents expressing their love for their children in many different ways. As soon as I started reading this book, I knew it had been written straight from a mother’s heart. The comparison Hillary J Lee has made about the way loving a child feels is absolutely beautiful. If you struggle to express just how much you love your child, then this book will definitely help you achieve this. The illustrations are cute and support each page perfectly. By reading this to your child, they will start to understand the emotion behind love and know just how much you love them. The rhymes are short, fun, and will entertain your little one without a doubt.
I strongly believe that reading this to your child will form a stronger bond with them, and although this book is aimed at young children, I feel it would be an ideal keepsake because no matter how old your child gets, the love you feel for them will never change, and it can’t hurt to remind them of that. Hillary J Lee is an exceptional children’s author and I can’t wait to read further books written by her. My nephews loved this book when I read it to them, so grab a copy of Oh, The Way I Love You, snuggle up with your little one and begin to read.
