No Excuses: How Anyone Can Overcome a Rough Start by Roger Auger is an inspirational work about overcoming hardships and achieving success. Roger relates his life story and the trials that he went through to get to where he is now. He infuses his tale with life-changing advice and lessons on how to handle finances. The book also covers topics such as domestic abuse and child endangerment. Auger continuously urges people to help children and the vulnerable by teaching them how to fend for themselves and not just giving them handouts. He provides examples from his businesses in the earlier years and his dream of owning property and having a real-estate empire. He advises readers to have a wide vision when setting life goals and concludes by advising people to act now and not wait, as it might be too late.
No Excuses is an emotional yet motivational guide. Roger Auger has written this book with so much passion and love that shine through in his words. He aims to help, which is evident from the stories he has shared. We all need a guiding hand from time to time, which is particularly true of children in situations they don't deserve to be in. To see the bright side of life, they require an external force to pull them out of the dark. If you have ever been so low that you thought there was no hope left, this book is for you because no matter how dire your situation is, there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
