Could this have been the true white brother? The Hotevilla village was about to witness history and legend merge. Meanwhile, Alan was perturbed by the sudden disappearance of Anah. They had been together the last time she was present. She walked out with Yemo, never to be seen again. Everyone knew Yemo because of how outspoken he was, but now no one remembered him. Was he involved in Anah's disappearance, and why wasn't Beverly troubled by her daughter's disappearance? Alan must investigate. NeuMonah and the Chantallah by Stacy Jo Zercher is a unique read for science fiction lovers. I enjoyed the different angles explored by the author, such as including legend and culture in the plot together with the science and technology aspects. It made the story more relatable. The steady pace of the narration and the well-developed characters will also capture their attention, and there is no room for confusion as the plot line unfolds. The vivid descriptions of events and the characters' emotions also help the reader follow what is happening. They will also appreciate the easy-to-understand language used, making the book accessible to a wide audience. I cannot wait to read more action-filled science fiction by this talented author.
