My Healing Journal: Notebook with Faith-Building Bible Verses to Restore Health is a Christian Devotionals/Bible Study workbook written and compiled by Andrew Cartwright. Cartwright offers an interactive approach to healing through faith; one that he suggests be approached in a consistent manner. The first part of the book offers the reader an opportunity to focus upon their wellness goals and to come to a recognition of God as the actual healer. Each page in this section contains inspirational and thought-provoking quotes from scripture to assist the reader in creating their journal entries. He follows the Journal with a Declaration of Forgiveness to facilitate healing and then offers a series of Healing Scriptures to be spoken aloud three times a day. He includes versions from both the Old and New Testaments. He concludes with a section that follows the Healings of Jesus, which he also recommends reading aloud, and he includes blank pages for the reader to continue journaling their own responses to the verses as they are moved by them.
Andrew Cartwright’s My Healing Journal is an inspirational interactive guide that offers the Christian reader a means to focus on particular bits of scripture as a springboard for journaling and healing. I was impressed to see the number and variety of healing verses Cartwright includes in his journal, particularly in the last section of the book. The Healings of Jesus section is a fascinating and inclusive compilation that’s a marvelous refresher for Bible students and will be of particular value to those who have more recently accepted Christ as their Savior. My Healing Journal: Notebook with Faith-Building Bible Verses to Restore Health is most highly recommended.
