The Founding Fathers are most certainly one of the most talked about groups of men in American history. One can only imagine what was going through their minds as they pondered their plans, debated issues, and drew up drafts of what would eventually become the Declaration of Independence. What if you did not have to imagine? What if you could ask them questions right at your very own dinner table? What would you ask? What would you prepare for dinner? Who would you choose to invite? These questions are answered in My Dinner with the Founding Fathers: A Collection of Short Stories About Dining with the Men Who Built America by A.L. Talarowski.
My Dinner with the Founding Fathers by A.L. Talarowski is an exciting and intriguing concept for any history lover. The plot and characters are well-developed and the amount of research the author put into creating this book is incredible. In the beginning, there is an introduction to each character in case the reader is unfamiliar with their role in history. The author has also included references that enable the reader to look up the origin of the character's actual replies quoted in the book. As an avid reader of historical books and historical fiction, I was both impressed and increasingly excited when reading this work. The author has given readers an entertaining experience. Any parent or teacher who would like to instruct their children or students about the founders of America would benefit from obtaining this book.
