From an early age, we must teach children about emotions so that they can recognize and understand them. As an example, they have to understand that feeling angry is a natural emotion, but it is necessary to control it for one's good. My Angry Robot is about a boy and his robot in which the robot feels angry and describes his feelings, and the boy explains about emotions, why children sometimes get angry, and how to manage what they feel. At the end of the story, there are ideas for children to have the proper environment to deal with their emotions. Joey and Melanie Acker have experience working with children, and they share information on emotional education in a way that is easy to understand.
Childhood is a fundamental stage for emotional education. Adequate guidance will allow children to enjoy a calm and happy life. Joey and Melanie Acker do an excellent job of teaching children the appropriate way to react. My Angry Robot has simple, colorful, and amusing drawings. The examples are practical and explain what produces anger and how to process it. The book is suitable for teaching children to understand themselves better and to develop emotional intelligence. This story also teaches respect for others. Parents and teachers can use the ideas listed at the end of the book to create a relaxing environment. This will give children the opportunity to express themselves correctly concerning their feelings and thoughts.
