"Morning Moon" is a lyrical poem about a little girl named Olivia who noticed the moon peeping through her window at noon as she was relaxing on her bed with her puppy. It was nice to see that a child still has time to daydream in this hectic world around us. "Good morning, Moon," I said to him. "Have you lost your way? Did you miss the path to night and stumble in to day?" says the girl. In her imagination she thinks the moon lost its way. Why could she see it in the daylight hours?
This book answers some of those mystical questions children sometimes ask when they see something for the first time. It is a delightful fun book that was a joy to read. "Morning Moon" could be a nighttime classic which I thought was going to be like 'Goodnight Moon' but had its own little twist. Rhyming books are always a joy to read over and over again. Children love the musical lilt that it brings when reading the book out loud.
An audio book download is included with the book. This gives a complete digital entertainment package. The illustrations are simple and colorful. The book is small for those little hands to handle. It is a lovely book to end the night with for any young child, and also the young at heart.
