Mojave Rock is the third book in the ArcPoint Series by JW Gilbert. Arcon was going back home after living with Elaina for some time. He was excited to share his experiences with his people and show them what the outside world had to offer. However, ArcPoint was still a little rigid, a little tense, and very much stuck in their old ways. But they were willing to change if the right person instigated it. The opportunity revealed itself when Arcon discovered that Jesus was ruling the outside world from Jerusalem. He decided to go there and ask Jesus to help ArcPoint become part of the rest of the society. Joining him on this final journey are Ranger Dan, Roberto, and, of course, his beloved Elaina. But will they succeed? Can ArcPoint let go of its old traditions and accept this new change? Was there a future for Elaina and Acron?
The series finale was everything I wished it to be and more. I thought reading the finale would be bittersweet, but it was so much more entertaining. I loved Acron’s journey and his character development the most. He was a changed man, and I enjoyed how he was more open about his feelings. His emotions were clearer now, and Elaina was a great companion for him. They complemented each other a lot, and I felt very pleased with how their relationship developed. As always, author JW Gilbert made sure the descriptions and imagery were as vivid as possible. I felt like I was part of the story and enjoyed each moment. The pace was fast, the action was there, and the characters were wonderful. I highly recommend this book!
