Natalie J Case whisked me away from reality and dropped me right in the middle of a world of fantasy. If you are looking for a fantasy and science fiction novel laced with action, adventure, tension, and suspense, you will love Morderin. Natalie forges an intriguing plot, which unfolds through short and twisted sentences. I was on edge with the spell-binding plot twists. The author captures the mood and setting of the scenes with vivid depictions. This made me feel like I was right there beside the characters, closely and helplessly watching their every move. The cast was wonderfully developed. The sentiment in the words made me experience the characters’ agony, terror, melancholy, loathing, joy, rage, and fear, among other emotions. Although it is the second installment of The Blood Witch saga series, Morderin is an engrossing stand-alone read.
