Her story provides a sneak peek behind the scenes into TV and film. Cubitt is humorously candid about her shortcomings detailing why she couldn’t cut it in menial jobs like waitressing and other TV jobs. Her candidness regarding her career makes her journey relatable and realistic to the reader. Misadventures In the Screen Trade is a true-to-life depiction that details some everyday challenges that all workers experience at work. Her story is proof that the journey is part of finding your calling in life and should be embraced with as much enthusiasm as Cubitt embraced her journey.
