More people than we know are affected by a mental health issue of one kind or another and criminal defense is tough enough without another ingredient in the mix. This primer will teach you legal terms you should be aware of and what they mean; it will walk you through legal proceedings and tell you how you can help, as well as pointing you to resources you can use. Too often, those with mental health disorders are either walked all over because of it or given the incorrect treatment because nobody understands their situation. This primer will give you the knowledge you need to ensure that you or your loved one get the defense they deserve.
