Me, Intentionally: 7 Biblical Strategies for Godly Success by Dr. Stephanie L. Foster uses verses from Bible scripture in Psalm 37 and Jeremiah 29 to define Godly success, and starts with the foundation that God has a good plan for each and every one of our lives. While we've heard "put the first things first" in other words in business books, Foster explains, "Put your trust totally in God and not in yourself" as the beginning of everything. She explains the importance of being grateful, taking time each day to thank God for his mercies. Foster emphasizes that NOW is the time to do something that God is leading you to do. Other chapters cover doing good things and connecting meaningfully. She even includes an action plan to help guide you toward implementing her seven biblical strategies.
I liked the liberal sprinkling of scripture within the body and at the end of every chapter of Me, Intentionally: 7 Biblical Strategies for Godly Success by Dr. Stephanie L. Foster. While many of us would think these strategies are obvious, those who aren't in His Word or even those who are, forget that God comes first and guides us toward Godly success. Dr. Foster writes in a way that is easy to understand and makes it feel good to read her book. Foster's reflections at the end of the book fill you with hope and promise for Godly success. Me, Intentionally: 7 Biblical Strategies for Godly Success is an encouraging read.
