Maddie Bradshaw, 14, offers advice on how to start your own business. She, along with her mother and sister, is the successful owner of Snap Caps. She stresses the need to discover a business that suits you. What do you like? What are your goals? There is a whole list of questions to help the reader discover who they are. Maddie also has a list of suggestions for those who like animals, sports, cooking, etc. Thinking outside the box is the key. Perhaps there is something you want that no one else has created. This young entrepreneur discusses and defines branding. Maddie advises you to accept help, because after all, you can't do it all by yourself. You will need start up money to cover expenses. What are you going to do with all the money you are going to make? Will you save for the future? Give to others? You will also want to consider reinvesting in your business. Maddie reminds readers to keep their customers happy.
What can I say? This book is fabulous. Maddie’s book is bright and colorful, sure to attract the young entrepreneur. The book is written in an easy to understand manner. The illustrations are brightly colored and eye-catching. I predict that many will come to know the name Maddie Bradshaw. She is a young lady who is not afraid of going after her dream. If she is this good at 14 just think what she will accomplish as an adult! I think my granddaughter needs a copy of this book.
