Loving Lord Egleton by Laura Beers is the third novel in her Regency Matchmakers series, but she doesn't stop after all the Blackmore sisters get married. Hannah Blackmore is the youngest sister. She is content with living with her oldest sister and her husband until Martin Pemberton, the Earl of Egleton, asks her to find him a bride within a month. Hannah has had her heart set on Martin for years, but he has only viewed her as a family friend. She will find him a bride, but in the meantime, she will find herself a husband. Martin's father has put him in a predicament where a love match may not be possible. Wanting the freedom to make his own decisions is important to him. But Martin can't stop interfering with the choices Hannah is making for herself. His desire to protect her from the wrong match stirs up emotions he didn't realize he had. Can he have his love match and keep his friendship with Hannah?
I find Laura Beers to be a fascinating author. Her ability to draw you in while the story unfolds makes you feel you are right there watching. With edgy precision, Laura Beers applies the elements of a good Regency romance: a dramatic plot, energetic characters, excellent writing, and the unique twist of professional matchmakers to the ton. The author brings her characters alive with family issues that will touch your heart. Overall, Loving Lord Egleton: Regency Matchmakers Book 3 will delight anyone who enjoys a good historical romance with plenty of drama.
