Phoebe was so looking forward to their family’s time at the beach with the others in their Amish community, and especially since Michael was going along, too. But it definitely wasn’t a vacation any of them expected. A horrible tragedy ends the community’s fun time at the lake, and Phoebe and Michael’s world was torn apart, as well as those in this little Amish community. It will take a lot of love, grace and forgiveness to pull these Amish people together again.
Love Redeemed is the second book in The New Hope Amish series by Kelly Irvin, but it can easily be read as a stand-alone novel. This is such a heartwarming story. Phoebe and Michael were entirely different people, making their story a most interesting and intriguing read. The story is pretty fast paced, and a lot of things happen, keeping my interest! This story and its characters was so very believable and realistic I was hooked from the very beginning, and couldn’t put it down until I finished it. I think I read it within 24 hours after starting it. I love the way Kelly Irvin weaves this story together to show that God can and will turn our suffering and difficulties into something wonderful for our lives, if we trust Him, and cling to His promises of love, grace, forgiveness, and redemption. Though this is fiction, readers can truly see that He wants to change our lives. This is a book you do not want to miss. I encourage you to check out Love Redeemed, as well as other books from this awesome author.
