If like me, you are curious to discover how artists can create unusual products by assembling various items, this book is for you. In the beautiful pages of Lost and Found: Assemblage Artists of Northern California by Spencer Brewer and Esther Siegel, you will discover the creations of eight artists, and learn what inspires them and how they make their highly original and beautiful sculptures. Through their descriptions, captions, and above all the wonderful photographs of their creations, you will discover their talent and artworks.
Lost and Found is a book that will inspire admiration and excitement in those who view the many sculptures represented here. Spencer Brewer and Esther Siegel have done a great job, and I think anyone who loves assemblage art will be suitably impressed with the creations on display. Each page will evoke a sense of wonder in the reader both for the quality of the artifacts and the mastery of the artists. Each of them has different interests and ways of thinking, and this book highlights the preferences of each artist well. I like to think that each section is part of a journey, and I consider all of them equally enchanting. I recommend this beautiful book to anyone who wants to be amazed by the creations of talented people and who will appreciate their work.
