ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Roxe Anne Peacock is the author of LEAVE NO TRACE, two short stories and seven poems.
The Rockford Chamber of Commerce sponsored a juried art book, Art Rockford, copyright 2004, which Roxe Anne was asked to participate in. It sold at Barnes & Noble and Borders, Rockford Art Museum and at other book venders throughout the Rock River Valley area.
While raising five daughters, she was a Girl Scout leader, 4-H leader and hosted several AFS students.
She participated in Civil War re-enactments for over ten years, helped host ladies’ teas for the public, participated in Civil War balls, and helped educate the public at living histories. She also appeared on CSPAN in the Lincoln-Douglas debates.
At the present, Roxe Anne is working on another mystery, Fatal Catch and a non-fiction project, History Lover's Cookbook which is centered around the Civil War and nineteenth century recipes. The book will have about 160 photos. Both projects should be out by November 2011.
She enjoys her pug, Spike and being with family and friends.

Leave No Trace by Roxe Anne Peacock is a cleanly written suspense thriller that will be good for older teens and young adults. Just before graduation Jessica Waters's best friend, Sandra, disappears. Jessica cannot believe that she just ran away, not with all the plans they had for college. When a day later another girl from the school also disappears, people begin to question the disappearances. With three suspects in mind, the story takes an eerie twist. When Sandra’s body is found, Jessica is determined to find her killer and also find out what happened to Monica, the other girl who disappeared. From being stalked, to break-ins to suspicious notes, the book will keep you guessing to the very end.
I enjoyed the book because I love a good, cleanly written mysteries that keep me guessing. The main characters were easy to connect with and worked well within the plot. All in all, I found the book to be a fast read with a great suspense-filled plot, a wonderful book for adults young and old.
