Mara has never had much of a plan for her life. She’s always thought of herself as nobody important, nothing special. But all of a sudden, things are beginning to change in Law Man It all begins with a broken sink, but that’s definitely not where it ends. It’s Detective Mitch Lawson who helps her with the sink, but he’s definitely not done there either. In fact, Billy and Billie are the main reason that things change for the two of them. Mara is determined to protect the two of them from everything evil in the world and Mitch is absolutely determined to be a part of that protected world. Law Man by Kristen Ashley was definitely about far more than just an officer of the law.
Everything about Mara is what any girl would think about herself. She’s always doubting herself, her looks, her abilities and everything else about herself. I thought she was so much like me that I couldn’t believe it. Mitch was everything a woman could possibly want in a man; tall, dark and handsome, as well as strong and protective. He has some negative traits, of course, which make him even more real. I loved both of the main characters and the entire plot line as well as the two adorable children who were unfortunate enough to be pulled into the mess of their father’s life. Law Man will definitely keep you wanting to know more and more with every word. You’ll love Mara, Mitch, Billy and Billie just as much as I did.
