Kyle Evans and the Key to the Universe: Book One by Rob H. Hunt is an exciting adventure story for readers where they get to see Kyle’s transformation into a hero one morning. Ten-year-old Kyle lives with his mother and when he sees a giant hole in his room, he realizes that his mother has gone missing. The giant hole floating in the middle of his room pulls him and his cat Bootles in too, and they both go spinning into the darkness at an unimaginable speed. He knows they are in trouble when he hears a metallic voice saying: “Two life forms were detected. Locate and eliminate.” His life suddenly changes and becomes interesting; there are robots, his cat becomes a talking alien cat, and there are many other alien creatures. The action gets fully activated once they meet Sofia. Will Kyle be able to get out the place with his cat and also find his mom?
The story is full of twists, turns, and surprises and will keep readers glued till the very last page, curious to know what is going to happen. All the characters are well sketched and readers will love them. The book is a fun ride and readers will definitely enjoy the experience along with Kyle, Sofia, and Bootles. The story is intriguing, adventurous, challenging, fast paced, and fun, and makes a good bedtime storybook.
