David Clow's King Judy is a young adult adventure about a young scientist named Judith Avery who was all set to submit her dissertation that would earn her a doctorate and a tenure-track appointment in one of the world's most respected archaeologist's lab. She was all set in her path to prove that ancient myths, especially King Arthur's adventures, were real and it is this belief that drove a wedge between her and her father, Harrison Avery. However, her career is over before it even started and her life is turned upside down when she crashes against a stone and catches the old sword in the middle. Suddenly all these knights are swearing loyalty to her and Judy finds herself in the middle of an adventure she never expected to have.

King Judy is truly an original take on what happened after the adventures of King Arthur and his knights. It is a twisting, turning, riveting story where Judy finds that the myths she believed were real actually were real, but the truth is much different from what she had expected. It is a refreshing, unexpected twist on what happened to the Camelot of old, and meshes modern times with the ancient myths. With an epic plot and knights who tried their best to make a living and so turned Camelot into a tourist attraction, selling Camelot merchandise and reenacting the Final Battle, and unexpected twists, this story has turned into a memorable, exciting myth of its own.
