Keep Walking: Your Heart Will Catch Up by Cathay O. Reta chronicles the author's journey to Camino de Santiago after she lost her husband David. It is a 483-mile trail across Northern Spain and the Cathedral in Santiago de Compostela is one of the three Christian pilgrimage sites, along with Rome and Jerusalem. The author decided she would celebrate her 65th birthday in Spain on the Camino de Santiago. Her spiritual journey is her journey of self-discovery, healing, and transformation where she could finally forgive herself, love herself, and release herself from guilt. She knew the 37 days on the Camino would take her to her authentic self and help her fall in love with her self all over again.
Keep Walking is uplifting and the spiritual undertones are palpable to readers right from the time Cathay starts her journey. The narration is detailed and gives vivid images of her trail to readers, showing them the beauty of the place and the truth of their being. Her words will help readers experience an internal awakening in themselves and look at hardships and pain from a different perspective. Cathay O.
