The story follows Pete Katz, a cat who lives in Catlantis with his wife, Candy, and their three adorable kittens. One day, a mysterious catastrophe strikes their home, and they receive a warning to evacuate it within nine minutes. Fortunately, they make it out alive and settle in Barkadia Bay, a place that promises peaceful living for both cats and dogs. Pete finds a good job, and his family begins to thrive and make new friends. However, all is not as it seems, because the leaders in Barkadia Bay start making decisions that endanger the land and the residents. Join Pete as he bravely steps up to help save his second home.
Katz Kan!!! is a fun and educational story that explores new realms and teaches young readers about environmental protection from a fresh perspective. The story also has themes of family, love, and joy. My favorite part of this tale was the characters. Pete Katz and his family are just like any other modern family. They have hardworking parents and children who love the latest music and trending video games. There is also a message about missing home and the heartbreak of losing everything and starting afresh. The characters’ emotions were conveyed beautifully, and readers will resonate with their struggles. Overall, Katz Kan!!! is a well-rounded story that will spark children's imaginations while imparting valuable life lessons. I enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend adding it to your children’s bookshelves.
