Jasmine’s Tears by Elliot Graves is a tale of urban life. Keep the tissues close at hand when you read this book. My heart ached for Jasmine. This book clearly demonstrates the anguish that is passed on from one generation to another. Graves did a great job with characterization. The characters are skillfully given dimension. I really cared about the characters. The plot is well done. It moves along at a nice pace. This is the first book in the Crestwood Heights series.
