It's All Good! Accepting Life's Uncomfortable Moments (Being Awesome!) (Volume 5) by Tracy Bryan is an uplifting book for young readers that teaches them that life is not always filled with good moments and happiness, and it's okay to go through some uncomfortable moments once in a while. Lots of moments can make us uncomfortable; places, people and situations. The book tells readers to practice mindfulness so that they can handle these kinds of uncomfortable moments comfortably. The awareness of what is going on inside us and what is going on around us guides our mind and body to work together. Kids will find this book insightful and inspirational to change their attitudes and perspectives towards life and living.
I found the book ideal for children to understand how to handle situations in their lives that are not always pleasant and acceptable to them. The acceptance body scan meditation technique is good for children to incorporate into their daily lives. The pictures are adorable and they capture the candid feelings of children and complement the author's thoughts and words with clarity and precision. It's also a good way of helping children look into themselves and handle situations in a better way.
Usually books like these target a mature audience and I am glad that here the author reaches out to young readers and guides them to handle the unpleasant situations in their lives in a good way and also teaches them to align their mind, body and spirit. It's a perfect tool for helping children manage their lives in a positive way.
