I loved Joanne Vassallo Jamrosz's original and fun narrative style. Her stories are constantly entertaining. Despite facing setbacks, for example, traveling to watch a competition, she always highlights the positive aspects. Her ability to connect with people is inspiring because she makes friends easily. Joanne is a natural with both children and professional judges. The stories highlight the positive aspects of skating. In particular, I liked it when she emphasized the importance of motivation in skaters. Joanne shows how efforts are worthwhile when you do what you love. Her love for figure skating is reflected in her writing, and the language is simple, without technical jargon, making it an entertaining book for any reader. It's All About the Memories and Other Skating Stuff is an inspiring book that offers an excellent opportunity to learn about the sport.
