Issa's Super Question Day: Who? by Aliya Yancey is a cute story about the use of the word 'who.' The book is part of a collection of books about words that begin with the letters 'wh'. In this chapter, Issa asks questions that start with the word who. Issa is a fun-loving little girl. She loves to ride the scooter and build with blocks. It is Issa's birthday, and her family has prepared surprises for her. Joins Issa, her family, and friends as they celebrate her fifth birthday. Who made her favorite mac and cheese? Who baked her awesome cupcakes? Who put up beautiful decorations using her favorite colors? And who is attending her birthday party? Answer these questions and learn how to use the word who.
Issa's Super Question Day: Who? is a cute educational book for children learning vocabulary. I loved reading this book because Aliya Yancey's writing is engaging and descriptive. Her writing grabbed my attention right from the start. Issa is a lovely character; she is a cheerful and adorable child. Her family and friends display great love and care for her. I loved the colorful illustrations showcasing the characters and the story. They paint a well-defined story and made the characters easier to visualize. Who is a word that describes people that are doing something. It is a creative way of using the word who, by describing people who show love and devotion to a child. I recommend this book to parents, guardians, and child educators who wish to teach children how to use the word who.
