I couldn't get the idea out of my head. What happens when you're in a coma? Are you aware but unable to respond or are you off in a distant reality. Do you have times when you are aware and able to hear the doctors, nurses, visitors? Do you lose awareness and fall asleep . . . do you dream? What would it be like to come back from that experience? Would you ever long for your dream world?

In Your Dreams by Rick Incorvia is the story of Adam, a man who was comatose for two months after his accident. He survived the accident and now, in his comatose state, he has a new life. In his dreamland, he has a new life, new friends, and a woman whom he loves dearly and she loves him back. Now that he is out of his coma, every time he sleeps, he continues his new life in his dreams. It gets so out of hand that if his sister does not wake him up, he would continue to sleep to live that life. And now every time he wakes up, he is more confused. It is getting harder for him to differentiate between the real and the dream world. What is real anymore anyway? Is his real world real? Or is his dream world his true life? When the differences are so blurred, how can you know if you are real or not?
Right from the beginning, you will feel Adam’s longing for his dream life. You can feel his thirst and his desire to bring those things into his life. I would really like to commend the author for writing such an invigorating storyline. The plot is so amazing; you cannot help but get sucked into the story. What I really loved about this book was Adam’s resilience. He was determined and driven to find the truth about both his lives. He was a daring man and I loved him for trying so hard to find the truth. It would have been so easy to fall into the trap of illusion, but he fought back and he tried his best to find the truth. This book was brilliant and perfect.
