I'll Always Love My Mama by Dominique Wilkins is about Audrey Fitzgerald who has the hard task of raising her boys all by herself. Though her husband is there, he is not an active participant when it comes to helping with the boys. The story is a heartwarming tale of a mother who, like every mother, tries to protect her children.
The character of Audrey Fitzgerald stand tall and prominent in this book. The phases that a woman passes through in her life as a wife and a mother, and how she fights against all odds trying to make things work out well forms the story line. The Christian theme of counselling, inspiration, and motivation is handled well here. I wish there were more authors writing these kinds of stories in the current times because it is important to remain inspired and motivated.
I'll Always Love My Mama,as the title suggests, finally is the story of a child who realizes the sacrifices made by his mother, and the trials and tribulations she has undergone alone to make life easier for them. The part where Erik invites his mother to share his one-room apartment is very touching.
Stories like this are very motivating. It speaks about a lot of things in life like forgiveness, new beginnings, change, and most important of all, unconditional love which seem to be nonexistent now. The theme of faith and love adds to the spiritual content of the story. On a whole, a very uplifting and inspiring story.
