Dr. David Jeremiah is a well-known name among conservative evangelical Christians. He has penned numerous Christian books. His latest audio book "I Never Thought I’d See The Day!: Culture at the Crossroads" addresses the decay of the American culture. Dr. Jeremiah supports his book with scriptures, specifically Hosea 4:6 and 1 Chronicles 12:32. It is his desire to educate the masses concerning prophetic scripture and to offer hope. Satan’s demons have stepped up their attack on Christianity over the last few years. We have seen the attacks on religious holidays. It is no longer politically correct to call on the name of Jesus Christ in public prayers. Even in our churches the authority of the Bible is being debated. Our President stated that the United States is not a Christian nation.
"I Never Thought I’d See The Day!" is relevant to every Christian. Jeremiah writes in a thoughtful, easy to comprehend manner. He utilizes Biblical values. In his book Dr. Jeremiah discusses legislation, societal deviations, and historical facts. Dr. Jeremiah is not afraid of being politically incorrect and encourages all Christians to stand up for their beliefs. There are portions of this book that will upset some readers. Dr. Jeremiah is very strong in his discussion of the gay lifestyle. There is little doubt this book will have an impact on readers but whether it will be positive or negative is debatable. The last chapter was very pleasing to me, where he reminds readers of the need for salvation. He also ends his book on a positive note offering hope and encouragement to Christians. The history shared in this book appealed to me. I can say that Dr. David Jeremiah speaks with great wisdom.
