I Dream That I May One Day Be by Catherine Follestad is a fun read for all kids, especially girls as it speaks about the interests of girls, how they imagine and pretend when they play. It gives readers an idea of the different types of opportunities that can be pursued, and does so in a very expressive and interactive way, connecting well with readers. Written in rhyming verses, this style enables children to learn about the different types of professions, dreams, and hobbies that can be pursued while growing up, and as grown-ups. The book has a beautiful concept of showing kids that there is much to do and many ways for them to grow in life.

I like the concept and the way the author has chosen to express it. The illustrations are colorful and adorable, and children will be able to relate to them. It's a good bedtime storybook and can also be used in classrooms and school libraries for read aloud sessions. The rhyming verses give a lyrical vibe to the descriptions, making the book entertaining for young readers. The book is not only informative and educational, but also a fun read for kids. This book will be helpful to all those who are looking for tips and guidance in deciding what they want to do with their lives.

The last two lines of the last verse express the concept and the message beautifully:
'I will play with my friends and learn as I go;
there is much to do and many ways to grow.'
