Tiffiney Rogers-McDaniel wrote I Can Do All Things for children to learn that Christ gives them the strength to do things. Young Faith Hunter is a new student at Mrs. Christian’s Daycare. Because she is new to the class, she is not familiar with the various things the other students can quote. Mrs. Christian is kind and compassionate. She takes the time to help Faith understand how to memorize. The importance of repetition is explained then illustrated by Faith’s actions. By the end of the week, Faith has learned Philippians 4:13 (this happens to be one of my favorite Bible verses). Two wonderful things happened on that Friday directly tied to the week’s Bible verse. Read this interesting little book with your child and discover how the Bible verse came alive.

Tiffiney Rogers-McDaniel is developing a series of books to teach young children about the Lord. She does this by using real-life situations to illustrate Bible verses. So far, she has written three books in the series. I am hoping that she will continue and write many more. Her book, I Can Do All Things, shares the importance of leaning on the strength and power of God to accomplish anything. Tiffiney writes and illustrates the book in a very encouraging way. She shares the love of God and the importance of knowing the Scriptures. Her emphasis on repetition reminded me of my dad’s Bible college professor, who said, “Repetition is the mucilage of memory.” Pull your young child up into your lap and read this book to them. Help them learn the Bible verses. Memorizing the Bible will help your children become all they can be.
