Dreams are wonderful. They make us go to new and unknown places, they help us to live new experiences and to develop our creativity. I Bet a Dragon Could is a clear example of this. It’s the story of a boy who passes by a pet store but discovers that the store does not have the animals that he wants to see such as a tiger, a whale, or better yet... a dragon. With this in mind, the child imagines everything he could do with a pet dragon in a very optimistic and loving way, such as teaching him many tricks, offering rides on him for his friends, helping around the house, and much more. David Radman does an excellent job showing us a fantastic story of friendship and love.
I Bet a Dragon Could makes you want a dragon. The way the book unfolds is very funny, always giving priority to good manners and collaboration with others since most of the main character's ideas are either for the good of the dragon or to share with family and friends. Friendship is also a very relevant factor that I really liked to see because sharing good times with other people is something that any child should learn to make this world a better place. The visual aspect is also very satisfying, with very well-done images that convey the emotion of a creative and positive mind perfectly. David Radman teaches us several lessons through a fun story.
