I decided to read How to Build a LinkedIn Profile For Business Success by Daniel Alfon because I am on LinkedIn and I think most people are. I joined because I got an email two or three years ago and it made sense to connect with professionals that I had lost contact with or whose services I might need one day. I’m 57 so the whole internet thing is not second nature to me. I put no effort into really developing my LinkedIn page or profile. I have no picture up, and had never even thought about using LinkedIn as a marketing tool or any other kind of tool. Then a few months ago, I published my first novel on Amazon and started thinking about internet marketing. On page nine of How to Build a LinkedIn Profile for Business Success I realized I had found the perfect book to help me improve my image and presence online because the author asked and answered the very same questions I had been asking myself.
Step by step, Daniel Alfon taught me what LinkedIn really is and how to maximize my use of it. The writing is clear, simple, and directly to the point, so even an internet neophyte such as myself can take the necessary steps to use this powerful tool for my own entrepreneurial purposes. If you are an entrepreneur, own a business, or are any kind of freelancer, and your internet acumen falls a little short then you need this book. If you are any of the aforementioned, you have probably already implemented the steps Mr. Alfon suggests. If you’re not sure, then buy the book and make sure. It’s worth it.
