#Hipster by A. M. H. Johnson is the perfect romantic comedy to give readers a couple of laughs, a great romance to enjoy and plenty of good times to remember. Rebel Young is not your typical college student. She has the ambition to become the best writer there ever was and nothing is going to stand in her way, even a handsome hunk that is hell-bent on her failure. Mike Davis is the archetypal heartthrob; he has green eyes and the heart of a devil. They don’t see eye to eye and they really don’t want to. So when they are paired together by their professor for a group project, they have to work out their differences and make an effort. But the moment they try to put their rivalry aside, they realize that there is a spark they ignored for a long time. Will they act on the attraction they feel for each other? Or is it going to be business as usual?
Wow, this is one of the most entertaining and exceptionally well-written stories I have read so far this year. The author has done a splendid job at creating two very vivid and lively characters that make a place in your heart and just stay there. Rebel (aptly named, by the way) and Mike are two very interesting and appealing characters. They brought life to the story and made sure that the reader was hooked from the very beginning. I loved how amazing and witty their banter was, how both of them gave just as good as they got. I adored how the plot brought them together, how it just melted into one great story that is meant to be shared with the world. Fresh and spunky!
