The 4th book (Her Grandma's Ghosts ) in my growing series after I was only ever going to write the one novel was fully inspired by and written for my fans who continued to ask for another story.
I had no idea that I ad two or three more stories inside me. Seems I was wrong. Ive written 5 now to this Series and working on book 6.
This story deviates a little from the normal genre to this series in that, I have now added a new element of the Paranormal to intrigue. entice and add to the mystery and suspense.

Her Grandma’s Ghosts: A Cold Case — The Paranormal is the fourth book in The Arina Perry series by Kitty Boyes, a mystery with strong paranormal themes. A family returns to Perth to live on Grandma’s property until they get their new home built. What awaits the Jackman family is more than a haunted house; they discover two bodies buried on the property. Hall and Matt find themselves working on a cold case. But as more disturbing revelations are unveiled, ghosts begin to haunt them. Arina’s psychic abilities are roused by the haunting and the battle takes on a whole new dimension. Can they solve the mystery and put disgruntled souls to rest?
A tale of mystery with a strong appeal to fans of horror. The strength of the prose, poignant and hugely descriptive, arrested my attention from the very opening of the narrative: “A tendril of frigid air wafted on the back of her neck, sending a chill down her spine. Using only her eyes Arina searched the space. The coldness dissipated...” The images are powerful and they are rendered vivid in the reader's mind by the appropriateness in word choice and the unique phraseology. The story is suspenseful, with surprising moments that enrich the plot. Kitty Boyes’ narrative has great psychological depth, filled with symbolism, and featuring very compelling characters. I enjoyed the way the themes — family, crime, relationships — are explored and developed. The reader has a clear idea of a strong family and follows them in their search for truth. Her Grandma’s Ghosts: A Cold Case — The Paranormal is a compelling story that has the reader on the edge of their seat. Tightly plotted and skillfully written.
