Heavy Heart by Rochelle L. Wilcox sees Freyr, Freyja, Lia, and Will set off on their final journey before facing Ragnarök. The impending threat of Loki and the jötnar weighs heavily on Freyr as he continues to worry over the future of all those he cares about. Even with the allies they have made along the way and the dragons who have agreed to join the battle, will it be enough to defeat their enemies? And will Freyr be able to have the future he dreams of with Lia?
Heavy Heart by Rochelle L. Wilcox beautifully wrapped up the events of the series in an action-packed and emotional book. Heavy Heart is surely a fitting name for this book as it not only seems to encompass the emotions of the characters within the plot but also the reader upon reaching the end of the series. Wilcox once again does such a fantastic job of laying out the scenes as well as giving us glimpses into the thoughts and emotions of the characters. I found this book to be particularly emotional in this sense as you can see how all the hard work and effort of the characters have finally amounted to the last battle. This book was an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. It has been such a pleasure to read and review this series and it is definitely going down as one of my favorites. I hope that many more people find this series and enjoy it as much as I have.
