Guion the Lion: A Colorful World by Rebecca Wilson Macsovits is a fun children’s story that introduces us to a colorful lion named Guion. He is on a quest to find out why all of the beautiful colors have vanished from his surroundings. He thinks the color switch got turned off and he is on a mission to find a way to flip it back on. Throughout his quest, Guion encounters and aids other animals who are in need of a helping hand. To his surprise, this act of kindness helps to brighten up the world with a rainbow of colors. In the end, all of the animals learn the true meaning of helping each other out in times of need. The author did a wonderful job in writing this book because it teaches kids a valuable lesson!
I truly enjoyed reading Guion the Lion: A Colorful World by Rebecca Wilson Macsovits to my kids because it was a sweet children’s book that contained a powerful message about the importance of lending a helping hand. My kids enjoyed listening to Guion’s encounters with the other animals and the different ways in which he helped them. We also loved looking at the illustrations, especially Guion the Lion because he was bursting with so many vibrant and beautiful colors. He was so beautiful to look at! I would highly recommend Guion the Lion: A Colorful World by Rebecca Wilson Macsovits because it is a quick and excellent read that will surely make your children smile.
