Grace Trumps Guilt by Donna Cole is an honest account of the author's personal journey towards healing and the discovery of God in her life. Her relationship with Jesus and the presence of God in everyone's life forms the theme of the book. The author's trials and tribulations in her life will inspire readers and give insights into charting lives on the right track. The presence of angels in our lives is also discussed, with many examples.
'Satan slowly weaves his way into our lives. It's a subtle intrusion. Distractions prevent us from recognizing his presence!' These are very important lines, the effect of which can be seen everywhere around us. We live in an age steeped in negativity, anger, hatred, and many more bad emotions. There are a lot of quotes from the Scriptures used in the book to reassure readers of the presence and love of God in our daily lives. The simplicity and straightforwardness in narration makes it easy for readers to grasp the spiritual undertones.
I found a great deal of enjoyment in Grace Trumps Guilt, particularly in how it explains how to practice grace and experience the beautiful relationship that each one of us shares with God. I also thought the theme was very uplifting and easy to relate to. Overall Donna Cole has created a very moving, powerful and inspiring book that readers will not want to miss.
