"Golden Blood" is an exciting and passionate story for young adults. It is a nice find for anyone seeking an action and romance mix, as neither is neglected in this story. However, like all time-travel stories, more astute readers will be asking about loose ends and paradoxes. How will saving multiple people from death several centuries ago affect those now facing their thousands of descendants in the present? But most readers will be able to overlook those issues and enjoy the great trials in the story. Overall, it is a thrilling book that will be enjoyed across genres.
