God's Love Towards His People by Mr. Ben contains stories that center around God's grace and mercy. In story one, Ken has lost his parents and brother in a terrible accident. In anger, he blamed God for his loss. This event was a seed that grew to the point of him losing his faith. In the process, he searched for happiness in other religions until he stood in the gap between life and death. In story two, Tyler was bound to a wheelchair and drawn by the desires of his flesh.
Each story is captivating and potent. The author has taken two stories and wrapped them up in grace, mercy, and faith. I enjoyed the stories and it made me realize that we must trust God totally, without reservation. Our happiness is in God alone. As in the stories, sometimes we search for happiness in all the wrong places, only to come back to the origin of happiness.
The author's creative mind is vividly displayed with each descriptive story. Each one has biblical truths that will minister to readers. Aside from the character descriptions, each story moves at a nice pace to ensure a quick, faith-filled read. There were a lot of things I could relate to in each story. The main character has to make a mental decision concerning his faith. This is so true in our lives. The choices we make are produced from our thoughts. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a short story built upon the foundations of faith, grace, and mercy.
