"Gods Eye" by A.J. Scudiere is a paranormal romantic novel that will take the reader to the dark side of evil with fallen angels and demons. The plot revolves around Katharine Geryon, born with a silver spoon in her mouth so to speak. Since she is the only child of a prominent business owner, one day the Geryon and Light investment company would all belong to Katharine. But when events start happening in her life she begins to question her own sanity and the validity of her job. When two men come into her life, Zachary and Allistair, things start happening: strange writing on her mirror, animals in her home, black soot on her carpets and both men striving for her attention.
Enter good and evil, dark and light, and Katharine is about to have her eyes open to both; but which is which? Both tell a good story. Whom will she choose to follow? Who can she believe?
When I first viewed the cover of the book I wondered to myself what I would be reading, but I found this book to be very captivating. As I read this book I viewed it with a Christian attitude because we waver between good and evil and the falter in the choices we make as to which one to follow. I would hesitate to call this a romantic novel, but more of a psychological thriller. The book has many twists and turns throughout and is full of intrigue and mystery. I myself did not know which one was from the light side and who was of the dark. I found myself switching back and forth between Zachary and Allistair and till the end of the book I did not know. There was a little bit more sexual activity in the romance part of the book but it is not erotic. However, I would not recommend it for a teenager to read. For those that like a good paranormal, psychological thriller I think you will find this book very hard to put down.
