She describes just how difficult it is to navigate the contracting process of various government entities. The book gives information on what a business owner needs to learn before venturing into the complex process. For example, there is a long list of requirements a business must fill in order to be considered for a government contract. The publication provides information on what time and costs can be expected to ready the business for government bidding. It also explains the products and services codes like SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) and NAIC (North American Industrial Classification System) as well as other terms the government uses in their contracting paperwork.
