Author Biography

In 2013, Myrlande E. Sauveur received the Readers Favorite International Bronze Medal and a Gold Medal from the 2013 Illumination Book Awards, Shining a Light on Exemplary Christian Books. Myrlande was born in Haiti but came to the US at an early age to further her education; she earned an MBA in Business Management from Strayer University. She’s married, with a beautiful and beloved son, Kendric Matthew. Now she’s a mother on a mission to inspire people, as well as empower working moms or moms entering the workforce with her foundation, GraceFull Extensions.

With mesmerizing poetic verses and vivid anecdotes, Myrlande E. Sauveur offers some helpful tools on how to navigate the daily rigors of life and be calm and collected in times of great turmoil. The poems emphasize some universal values, such as being less judgmental or generous even when life doesn't allow you to be. If you find yourself at the bottom or stuck in a situation where failure seems the only remaining option, keep trying to climb out of the hole.
