Frabbles by Chess Desalls is a collection of eleven fables. Each story is exactly 100 words long. The stories are engaging and entertaining for young readers and they conclude with a moral that is useful and encouraging. The stories are simple and will connect well with readers. Whether it is the story of The Lynx and the Ant or The Monkey and the Lizard or any other story in the book, they all have something to teach children so that they learn interesting messages through the quotes and proverbs on which the stories are based.
I enjoyed the way the author has written this book. Chess Desalls makes all the stories neat and simple, enabling young readers to understand them well. The message stands out clearly at the end of each story. It is a good book for classroom and library read aloud sessions because of the messages conveyed. Educators, teachers, and parents will find it easy to teach children about good morals and values with the help of the stories in this book. Parents and grandparents can use it for bedtime storytelling for their children and grandchildren and it is a good book to have in one's personal collection. It is beneficial to introduce children to these types of stories as a learning tool, introducing them to different animals along with enhancing their vocabulary. This book makes learning fun and easier!
