In For a Time Such as This, Randy Millet, with no formal background in real estate or finance, began his journey into property investment after discovering HELOCs and velocity banking. Initially skeptical, he enrolled in a coaching program where he met a mentor who helped guide him in building Juniper Tree Investments. It wasn't easy, with hurdles like credit issues and financing difficulties, but Millet remained determined, learning how to raise capital, network effectively, and close big deals. Millet’s approach covers learning, continuous improvement, and mentorship, following a five-phase process: Awakening, Decision, Knowledge, Implementation, and Growth. Through these phases, he transformed both personally and professionally, recognizing the importance of consistent action, surrounding himself with the right people, and overcoming setbacks to achieve success in real estate investing.
For Such a Time As This: How I Navigated the World of Multifamily Real Estate to Close My First Deal, and How You Can Too! by Randy Millet is a really honest look at what he had to put into real estate investing to get out of it what he does today. Millet expresses this in writing that is as clear as it is motivating, with some excellent practical advice. I appreciate that Millet shares triumphs and failures, proving through his candidness that when he champions adapting strategies along the way, he's been there. I worked as a broker for the largest commercial bank in the world when home equity lines of credit were widely introduced, but they have come a long way, and it's amazing to see how Millet has utilized them for more than just putting in a pool. Overall, Millet’s success gives readers a valuable blueprint, as well as good lessons in resilience, making this an essential read for aspiring real estate investors looking for actionable guidance. Very highly recommended.
