In For a Time Such as This, Randy Millet, with no formal background in real estate or finance, began his journey into property investment after discovering HELOCs and velocity banking. Initially skeptical, he enrolled in a coaching program where he met a mentor who helped guide him in building Juniper Tree Investments. It wasn't easy, with hurdles like credit issues and financing difficulties, but Millet remained determined, learning how to raise capital, network effectively, and close big deals. Millet’s approach covers learning, continuous improvement, and mentorship, following a five-phase process: Awakening, Decision, Knowledge, Implementation, and Growth. Through these phases, he transformed both personally and professionally, recognizing the importance of consistent action, surrounding himself with the right people, and overcoming setbacks to achieve success in real estate investing.

For Such a Time As This: How I Navigated the World of Multifamily Real Estate to Close My First Deal, and How You Can Too! by Randy Millet is a really honest look at what he had to put into real estate investing to get out of it what he does today. Millet expresses this in writing that is as clear as it is motivating, with some excellent practical advice. I appreciate that Millet shares triumphs and failures, proving through his candidness that when he champions adapting strategies along the way, he's been there. I worked as a broker for the largest commercial bank in the world when home equity lines of credit were widely introduced, but they have come a long way, and it's amazing to see how Millet has utilized them for more than just putting in a pool. Overall, Millet’s success gives readers a valuable blueprint, as well as good lessons in resilience, making this an essential read for aspiring real estate investors looking for actionable guidance. Very highly recommended.

Randy Millet had always lived comfortably as a technical sergeant in the Louisiana Air National Guard. With a lovely family and his nature as a laid-back person, he was quite content with what he had. One fateful day, Randy came across a YouTube video on real estate that changed his life trajectory and gave him a sense of purpose. With his wife's support and the Holy Spirit's direction, Randy ventured into new waters. This change did not come without its challenges, mistakes, and, most importantly, lessons. Read For Such a Time as This as Randy Millet takes us on his journey of a career change into real estate. This book shows that everything can be achieved when there is the right motivation, hard work, discipline, resilience, a support system, and being led by God.

For Such a Time as This has universal principles, not just for real estate but in virtually every area of one’s life. The author's writing style has the effect of keeping one spellbound. I appreciated the honesty and vulnerability shown here and greatly admired the writer’s unending faith and trust in God to help him out of any difficult situation. Randy Millet’s love and priority for his family is worthy of emulation. I looked forward to reading the profound quotes in every chapter and the new knowledge I acquired. The book also has a glossary section that explains ambiguous real estate terms. It is a book that I have no doubt will bless everybody who reads it, most especially people who are confused about the next step to take in life.

In For Such A Time As This, Randy Millet takes readers through the obstacles he had to overcome in the world of business and the lessons he learned along the way. Randy is a technical sergeant in the Louisiana Air Guard who began his journey as a real estate investor while writing this book. Brothers Sam and Daniel Kwak introduced Randy to the world of real estate and laid out a financial strategy explaining how to pay off his mortgage. After learning the fundamentals of real estate investing, Randy faced his share of setbacks, including being forced to terminate a contract, losing $42,000 on a deal, having the stress of securing financing while his newborn son was in NICU, and more. However, through his faith, he persevered and found the resilience and strength to transform his life.

For Such A Time As This isn't your typical self-help finance guide but an inspirational memoir that demonstrates the importance of faith, family, and courage to follow one's dreams. Randy Millet provides an unflinching account of his life as a real estate investor -- from his beginnings in the world of real estate to the unexpected hurdles that he had to overcome to pull off his first property deal, all while navigating networking for several business deals, with a wife recuperating back to health, a three-year-old daughter, and a newborn son. In addition to the author explaining the basics of real estate investing through his story, this is also an illuminating and motivational handbook for all those dreamers who want to transform themselves and their lives. Highly recommended!
